Breaking New Ground Confluence Image

Eau Claire’s Confluence Arts Center received a huge boost in its fundraising efforts with the announcement of a $1.5 million challenge grant to the project. The goal of the grant is to secure another $1.5 million in pledges and gifts by December 31, 2016. The $1.5 million challenge has been provided by a group of anonymous donors who want to ensure the successful completion of fundraising for the construction of the Confluence Arts Center.

The Confluence Project is a collaborative effort to continue the successful redevelopment of downtown Eau Claire at the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers. The centerpiece of the project is the Confluence Arts Center, a state-of-the-art facility to showcase Eau Claire’s vibrant arts community.

The Arts Center represents a true public-private collaboration with funding through state, city and county investments, partnered with philanthropy and new market tax credits.

Please click on CONFLUENCE ECONOMIC IMPACT to learn how the Confluence Project will benefit Eau Claire economically. You can also watch the "What is the Confluence?" video for more information.

Philanthropic support is critical to reach the Confluence Campaign’s $13.5 million fundraising goal and to match a $15 million state grant. There are several ways to support the Confluence Project, including individual pledges, bundled gifts, and various naming opportunities.

Please join the community in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a place that will contribute to the cultural renaissance of downtown Eau Claire.
