Children’s Dyslexia Legacy Fund

About the Fund

The Children’s Dyslexia Center of Upper Wisconsin is a 100% locally funded nonprofit organization that provides free tutoring for children struggling with reading, writing, and spelling difficulties due to dyslexia. It also trains tutors in a highly effective multi-sensory, direct-instruction system for teaching these students. Although it's located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, it serves children in the entire greater Chippewa Valley.

Dyslexia, which is a language-based learning disability, affects as many as 1 in 5 people – many of whom are of average or above average intelligence and excel dramatically when given the resources to do so.

This Fund provides financial support for the Children's Dyslexia Center of Upper Wisconsin so it can continue its mission of serving students with dyslexia for years to come.
